Renolab is a laboratory certified by the Italian Ministry of Health for analyses and studies carried out in accordance with the principles of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
History
From the Nineties to the present, in the world of GLP analyses
The Renolab Test Centre, certified according to GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) for over twenty years, provides analytical services to support product registration in several regulated sectors.

GLP studies performed by Renolab are internationally recognised by the competent authorities of the European Community, the United States (FDA and EPA) and Japan (MHLW, MAFF and METI) under intergovernmental agreements.
Renolab is also one of the 16 Italian laboratories selected by the REACH Centre to perform the analyses required under EU Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006 (REACH).

Renolab has always invested in technological innovation, obtaining state-of-the-art equipment to offer its clients analytical services with constant improvement in both qualitative and quantitative terms.
Our laboratories have a wide assortment of modern analysis instruments:
- Liquid chromatographs equipped with MS, MS/MS, Triple TOF, DAD, UV, ELSD and Coulometric and fluorimetric detectors;
- Ion chromatograph with conductometric detector;
- Gas chromatographs equipped with MS, MS/MS, ECD, NPD and FID detectors and Headspace autosampler;
- ICP-OES and ICP-MS for analysis of metals;
- Complete equipment for microbiological analysis;
- PCR Thermal Cycler – electrophoresis;
- Multifunction Microplate Reader.
The laboratory is also fully equipped for the chemical and physical characterisation of technical grade and formulated products.










Research & Development
Quality support for trials and R&D
Renolab offers research and development expertise to its clients, collaborating in projects of public and private institutions.
In particular, thanks to the specializations in chemistry, biotechnology and phytopathology, our cutting-edge equipment allows us to carry out:
- Characterization of fungal strains by production of secondary metabolites as well as non-regulated mycotoxins;
- Investigation of complex organic matrices used as natural ingredients;
- Research of organic and inorganic contaminants;
- Analysis of proteins in natural raw materials.

Since 2018, Renolab has been part of the Tentamus Group a global network of specialised companies and laboratories which has been working in the field of agrifood safety, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and medical products since 2011.
